Frank Lampard for National Literacy Trust

Manchester City footballer Frank Lampard has been appointed as ambassador for the National Literacy Trust, and is to support its ongoing work to raise the profile of literacy in the UK and help motivate disadvantaged children to read.

Lampard, who's written a series of children's books under the title Frankie's Magic Football, commented 'I am delighted to take up the role as an ambassador for the National Literacy Trust and help to further their work in supporting disadvantaged children across the UK to discover the joy of reading and develop their literacy skills'.
